The FMT does not have a decoder built in , it will not decode your sending, please read my guide to learning Morse (Free Link) that will expain more.

Users can switch from standard FMT to a Koch 39 lesson Morse trainer and P.O.W. Tap code added

The new 'g' version adds the option of using the FMT as a basic keyer with a radio if you want a lternative use after you have learned the code, also a simple AF signal generator feature as been included so you can use it  for testing other homebrew projects too if you wish (User requested no extra cost, so added to the software in 'g' version) 

The latest version (g) has a user selectable screen pause and hold feature so the user can control when the screen clears giving them as much time as they need to do a readback check on what they have heard. Also a small hardware change allows the user to change the screen brightness and contrast to save battery power. Of course all the features of the earlier versions are still there.

Also the tutor has a low level fixed sinewave output that is ideal to be connected to a computer to allow sending over the internet via Zoom, etc. This low level output can be also be used to check your sending. If you run free software (download via  my 'Links' page) you can practice your sending and let the computer try and decode it (you may not like what you see!).
